We took a weekend trip to Colville to watch two of my cousins graduate from high school. We also celebrated Dani's 18th birthday while we were there.
This was the longest car ride my kids have every been on, but they did great! It takes about 7 hours to get to Colville. We stopped in Moses Lake for a picnic lunch, which is about the half way point.

Emma was so excited to be able to ride horses at Aunt Barb's house. She has been wanting to ride a horse ever since she rode a pony at the King County Fair last summer. This was the highlight of Emma's weekend!My cousin Cassie loves horses and was so kind to take all the kids for rides on her horse. These first couple of pictures are of Cassie and Emma just sitting on the horse. Emma was all smiles!
Then Cassie took Emma for a ride around their yard. One loop was not enough, so she had to do two! =)
Then Cassie, Emma, and I went for a longer ride. Emma rode with Cassie because Cassie is a much better horseback rider than I am. Thanks Cassie for the horseback rides!
While we were on our horseback ride, the graduation cake was served. They did one cake for both Dani & Dylan which had their picture on it. It was cute!
