The Swensruds

Welcome to our family website!

Merry Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas this year! Everyone was spoiled with lots of presents and we were able to spend time with our family. =)
We started our morning by having hot chocolate and reading Luke chapter 2, the story of Jesus's birth, from the Bible.
Then we all checked to see what was in our stockings. Emma helped Caleb with his stocking before looking in her own. What a wonderful big sister!

Then it was time to open presents. Emma was really into opening presents this year. Caleb sat on my lap and watched most of the time.

Emma even enjoyed helping Daddy open presents.

Caleb started to help Daddy too!

The kids were excited to play with their new presents!

Then we had Toads in a Hole (fry an egg in a hole in a piece of bread) for breakfast and cleaned house in preparation for all of our family to come over.

Emma and Mommy dressed like twins. We both got new sweaters for Christmas that are almost the same exact color and style.
Then all of our family (both Stacy and Matt's families) came over.
Emma changed into her Christmas dress so that she and her cousin, Isabelle, could be twins. Aren't they cute!?!
After dinner, the kids enjoyed opening up more gifts. Then we had our adult gift exchange which was a lot of fun.
Then it was time for games and movies. We watched Elf and, of course, Mr. Bean.
Emma enjoying her plate of whipped cream! Yummy! =)
Auntie Carmen bought Emma and Caleb this play tunnel. They were both having a blast playing in it and crawling through the tunnels tonight!

Merry Christmas!!
