We enjoyed a lot of snow this winter!  Emma and Caleb LOVED playing in the snow!!  After a pretty dry winter the year before, we finally got to put all of our snow gear to lots of use.  =)

This was a late December 2010 snow fall.  What a great way to finish off 2010 and begin 2011!

There was only enough snow during this snowfall to build mini-snowman, so that's what we did.  =)

Everyone needs a nice warm treat after playing in the snow...peppermint hot chocolate!

We spent my birthday weekend in Seattle with my parents.  We had a great time hanging out at our hotel and spending time as a family!

We celebrated my actual birthday at home with an ice cream cake.  Yum!

It even snowed on my birthday!  What a great birthday present!!  I was so excited.  =)

Emma is growing up so fast! My little princess is talking on my cell phone while playing on my laptop.  When did she get so big?!?

Emma wanted to have a Princess Birthday Party this year.  So, we had a few of her friends over for a Princess Party during the day, and then we did our family party in the evening.  It was really cute seeing all the little girls in their princess dresses.  =)  We had a fun day of partying!

Emma wanted purple and pink princess cupcakes for her cake this year, so that is what I made for her.  Ariel is her favorite Disney Princess (in case you couldn't tell based on the cake topper and Emma's dress).  =)

Among lots of other presents, Emma got a Princess bike and a veterinarian set for her birthday.  She had lots of fun with her family and friends and enjoyed all of her gifts!
