We had fun weekend spending time with family at Herron Island. This was our only camping trip this year which wasn't really camping, but we did sleep in a tent. We enjoyed exploring the beach, playing at the park on the island, going for a ride in the peddle boat, watching the deer that roamed all over the island, playing games, and visiting with family.

Emma had a great time playing with her cousins.

Caleb was exploring the cabin. A remote and
water bottles - two of his favorite things. Which will he choose to swipe??? =)

Papa took Caleb for a walk on the beach (they are in the middle of this picture) while several of my cousins were digging for clams. This is a picture looking down from the deck off the cabin.

Matt and I took Emma for a ride in the peddle boat, but I don't have any pictures of that. We had a great time! We saw small crabs and starfish in the water. Caleb went with my parents to look for clams.

Papa was keeping a close eye on Caleb as he climbed those steps.

Caleb wasn't too excited to be having his picture taken.

Matt and Caleb standing at the top of one of the flights of stairs that leads from the cabin to the beach. Emma and I counted a total of 91 stairs! That's quite the hike especially when you are carrying a child. =)
